Work From Live Models
This is a class that everyone can afford and everyone is invited to participate. The concept of gathering artists of all mediums (pencil, charcoal, paint, photography, clay, fabric, metal, etc.), experienced or not, in comradely association with live models as inspiration for new creations is the objective. Each model will pose for one hour breaking every 15 minutes. The class will be held Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be three intervals: 10-12; 1-3 and 3-5 with a lunch break (bring your own lunch if you wish). The artists might engage in sketches or a variety of mediums or work towards one completed piece during each interval. PSAC will provide staging, chairs and tables. Please bring your own easel if needed. We have a few easels available on a first come, first serve basis so please call to reserve one. The fee is on $20 for the class and we encourage you to make a donation for the models. Call PSAC at 264-5020 early to register for there are only 15 spaces. Thank you and let’s share ideas as well as people rich in story from this area.
