Images below start with the 2nd. big game rifle hunting season. This is a small sample of the hunters and game taken in the Pagosa area. Photos have been retouched to reduce gore.

Special Photo: This new photo of a white deer is making the internet rounds right now. Does anyone know who took it? Would love to give credit and hear the story.

Walten K. Ballen, Charles Shell, Gary Hennis, Gary Holt, Don Pratt and Alan Sawyer from across the country love each others company so much they came for the second season and had no licenses or rifles. They came just to camp and have a good time together. A great bunch of fellows.

 

This is a new horse camping area just north of Williams Lake. Very nice corrals, restrooms and camping spaces.

 

It's human season in Pagosa Country!
