Tucker Ponds Road and Park Creek Road are two roads of several that access into the high country in the area that was the gold fields in the Pagosa Springs area. Here are links to some info on the area.

On Park Creek Road near Elwood Pass this small cabin is available for over night rent from the Rio Grande National Forest in Del Norte.

The group came across this tree blow-down area.

Amazing what the wind can do!

Trees have a hard life at timberline!

Summitville is a ghost town and a great visit.

Several of the old buildings are intact but it is not wise to try walking in them.

June in the Mountains is always lovely.
