Comments: Last summer we visited twice and both times East Fork Road was closed just past the campground. That's our favorite place and we're wondering before we come this year if it is open yet? Please let us know asap. Thank you so much!

Sorry, it is open for vehicles up to ATV size but not anything larger. A rancher and a couple outfitters are allowed in trucks but no one else. You can access the road from the east side but it is 4X4 only.
So, far this year the slide has not increased or slid more so, there is hope. On the other hand, if it all slides at once it will make a beautiful lake! Have you tried our other access roads? If I can help let me know.  Norm
