This welcome began days earlier with a special committee of the Town Tourism Committee and this group who went out and cleaned 160 of the winter's trash deposits.

The Pagosa Wheel Club sent a group out to meet Phil and they had more fun than on most Monday mornings.

We had a rest stop at Chimney Rock. Here Jennifer Green chats with Phil while the CBS cameraman gets footage. This fellow rides facing backwards on the motorcycle so he can film the riders. He's seeing the tour in reverse!

Down at the Springs Resort the Amazing Race spoof began as Jennifer suprised Phil with a "Road Block" from the Amazing Race. It orders Phil to eat, soak, get massage and therapy all courtesy of locals. See more of the spoof tomorrow.

Phil directed the peanut gallery of locals to chant welcomes.
